Paneer Butter Masala

High Protein

Soft cubes of fresh organic paneer bathed in a luscious tomato-cashew gravy, finished with kasuri methi and a restaurant-style butter gloss. It is creamy without feeling heavy, mildly sweet from ripe tomatoes and rounded with warm North Indian spices.

The story

How this dish came to be.

Legend places its birth at Moti Mahal in the late '50s — a gravy invented to rescue leftover tandoori paneer. Ours starts with milk from grass-fed cows, set into paneer that morning. Slow-simmered tomatoes, cashew cream and hand-ground kasuri methi meet a knob of white butter. Freeze-dried at peak silkiness, so what lands in your bowl tastes like a Sunday lunch, not a shortcut.

Chef's note

Crumble a fresh piece of paneer on top after rehydrating — the contrast between soft and just-set is the trick every dhaba uses.

Paneer stays SOFT

That was my biggest worry with freeze-dried — the paneer would go rubbery. It didn't. Pillowy every single time.

Better than my go-to dhaba

The gravy is properly luxurious. I subscribe now — 4 packs a month.

What people are saying.

Better than most Delhi restaurants I've ordered from. I stopped dialling Zomato.

The paneer is actually soft. I did a double take.
